Toyoshige Watanabe was born in Tokyo in 1931. Continuing to express joy and sorrow by exploiting resonances between color and form, he has long been active as one of the top runners on the contemporary art scene. This exhibition focuses on his latest gem works, which are filled with the attractive sense of lightness and brightness that he has mastered by drawing on his rich history of experiences.
